Grace & Steve // A New Year's Eve Wedding
Grace and Steve's New Year's Eve wedding took place at the warm Whitefish Lodge four hours North of the Twin Cities. Grace and Steve met at St. Olaf and currently reside in Oregon, where Grace is studying optometry. These two gracious human beings treated my second shooter and I like family, and by the end of their wedding celebration, I was reminded of why I wish I had friends like Grace and Steve in college. They were so much fun, they even went along with my nuts idea of photographing some of their portraits within the whmsical gift shop down the road.
Grace and Steve's wedding was full of so much emotion; it definitely was the most intimate wedding I have photographed yet. Grace and her father have a ridiculously cool handshake, they had the most emotive speeches, and Steve and his mother were large fans of "Friends", so their first dance was the opening theme. The amount of genuine kindness and adoration these two had for each other is incredible, as you will see throughout their wedding day. Congratulations, Grace and Steve.
